Terms and Conditions



Shipping rates are automatically calculated by the USPS, based on the customer's address and the weight of their order.

All packages are shipped via USPS First Class.  Packages weighing over 13 oz. will be shipped USPS Priority (generally, 4+ full skeins of yarn will ship Priority). First Class Mail is not insured; Priority mail comes with $50 of shipping insurance.

Orders generally ship within 2-3 business days of purchase.

An email notification is sent with a tracking number, as soon as your item is ready to ship.

Please note: Tracking information may take 1-3 days to appear on the USPS website. International shipments cannot be tracked after they have left the US. 

Holly Press Fibers cannot be responsible for lost or stolen packages. Please contact your local post office with your order tracking number or visit the USPS website for Missing Mail: https://missingmail.usps.com/#/Any claims filed for lost packages must be made by the purchaser through usps.com, I am not responsible for lost packages or delays.  According to USPS guidelines, claims must be filed by you, the recipient, through USPS. Once the package is picked up by the postal service the ownership of that package is now yours. While I am here to help and do what I can to assist, I have absolutely no control over your package once it’s left my hands.

If you would like to insure your package, please email me immediately after placing your order and I will send a separate invoice with insurance costs. 

The customer assumes responsibility for any mistakes made entering the shipping address.  In the event the wrong shipping address is entered and the package is returned to Holly Press Fibers, we will contact you for new shipping information along with a separate invoice to cover shipping charges.

Sales Tax is charged to customers with a mailing address in Colorado.


My tracking number has no data.  Can you help?

Please allow 1-3 days for tracking information to appear on the USPS website. Unfortunately, orders being shipped internationally cannot be tracked after they have left the US.
My tracking number shows the package hasn't moved in several days.  Can you help?  
Please give the order 2-3 weeks processing time.  If the package is still in limbo, contact the USPS Missing Mail website at https://missingmail.usps.com/#/ and fill out their forms.

International Orders

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs. All outgoing international packages are labeled as "yarn".




Holly Press Fibers will accept returns and exchanges IF:

  • You contact me within 14 days of delivery,

  • The yarn is shipped back unused, still in the original skein, and clean within 30 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with labels, and in its original packaging. 

To start a return, please email us via the "Contact Us" link. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. The buyer is responsible for any loss in value.  Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Exceptions / non-returnable items                                                  

  • Custom orders are non-returnable.

  • Yarn Clubs, Advent Calendars, Countdown-style Calendars, and subscriptions may not be exchanged or refunded.

  • Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
